Loughborough Junction Community Legal Advice Service Open Day 19th March 13.00 – 16.00 |
||
|
A new legal aid service has been created in Loughborough Junction, in direct response to rising homelessness, health inequalities, and deepening social and economic hardship.
Loughborough Junction Community Legal Advice and Wellbeing Centre is hosted by Copef Training Skills, 236 Coldharbour Lane, London SW9 8SD, Tel: 02077370827, Web: www.copefts.org
It will provide free, drop-in legal and practical support for local residents facing housing insecurity, homelessness, welfare benefit challenges, debt, and immigration issues. Mondays 10 – 5 for Housing and Benefits advice. Thursdays 10 - 5 for Immigration Advice. Alongside legal advice, it will offer integrated mental health and wellbeing support, recognising the severe impact that poverty, housing instability, and the cost-of-living crisis have on people’s physical and mental health.
The community centre also acts as a safe and supportive hub, providing a warm space, emergency food bank, office facilities, and wider family support ensuring that individuals and families who are most marginalised are not turned away and are supported with dignity.
The Open Day will take place on Thursday 19th March 2026, from 1:00–4:00 pm, at 236 Coldharbour Lane, London, SW9 8SF.
Apologies for the short notice.
Please also note that while Centre 70 (the previous Advice Centre serving South Lambeth clos at the end of last year) its web page of Useful Contacts & Information remains on- line. | ||
